Week 9, Thing 23
I FINALLY MADE IT!!! I can't believe I am finally finished! I learned a lot in the past several weeks. I especially liked Flickr with all the different pictures there are to view and download, as you can see by my Redskins picture. I also liked LibraryThing, which makes it possible to organize my favorite books and the books I have read. I really enjoyed creating an avatar. I think Google Docs is one of the most useful tools I explored. It is a site I would use. I didn't like Wikis or Technorati. They were just too confusing. If this program was offered in the future I would not choose to participate. It was very stressful and I feel there was just not a lot of time to work on it. It was definitely an experience I won't forget.
Week 9, Thing 22
I explored Overdrive audiobooks. Even though I don't listen to audiobooks the site was very easy to use. I did explore some titles that interest me, but I would still rather read a book.
Week 9, Thing 21
I explored podcasts and decided on Podcast.net. I found a site called Rachel's Reviews and I added the RSS feed to my Bloglines account. I was not very impressed with the podcasts. The sites were so outdated.
Week 9, Thing 20
I explored YouTube and found it to be a site for entertainment. I did find this site with giraffes because I like them.

Week 8, Thing 19
The Web 2.0 Awards site that I liked was Biblio. I like that you can look for used and out-of-print books. This seems to be a very useful site. This site would come in handy when looking for a book that we can't find in our system.
Week 8, Thing 18
I explored Google Docs because I allready had an account with Google. I really like that I can create a document from any computer and then log on some where else and retrieve my document. You don't have to have a program on your computer to use it. This is actually one program that I would use.

Week 7, Thing 17
They say it's easy to do, but I needed help to do this exercise. With help, I created a login account on the Maryland Libraries Sandbox and added my blog to the Favorite Blogs page.
